Memories: David Daoud, Fouad Agbaria, Shadi Abou Saada
7 April - 10 April 2021
Memories play a very important part in our lives; they make us who we are and help shape our present and future. Happy childhood memories have a positive effect on our health and well-being. No matter how old we get; embracing the inner child in us can recall our happy childhood memories.

Chady Abou Saada’s paintings evoke memories and dreams and transport us back in time to childhood and innocence. Abou Saada explained: “I make walls for our shadows. What remains from our memories, inspires me – dreams, repetition of history…the hallucinations have become closer to reality.”

“Cactus” and the “olive tree,” Fouad Agabria’s paintings revolve around the artist’s identity and memories and are mainly associated with his village Umm el-Fahem in Palestine where he spent his childhood. “My works utilize connotations and various techniques to help me in my search for precious early childhood memories,” “My latest landscape paintings are an attempt to recall and revive those memories and experiences,” stated Agabria.

As for David Daoud, his paintings shed light on nostalgia, dreams, and mystical landscapes as we can see with the dreamy and peaceful “Harbor” and “Sunset”. “I find myself more while painting landscapes. The colors that I use are obscure and mysterious and they resemble my personality,” said Daoud.

Featured in this exhibition are artworks by artists Shadi Abou Saada, David Daoud, and Fouad Agbaria that will rekindle your memories and take your artistic experience to new heights.
